I have no idea why when the port forwarding works, I don't know why when I am even inside the network why is it so complicated, I don't know anything and after like 5 hours of trying I am a bit irritated.Īnyone has any idea what could be the problem? I would appreciate any help. I tried to connect with the VNC credentials, in username I put "pi" because I didn't know what else I should put there, and in the password I put the admin password I set up in VNC. Then I thought I would use VNC credentials, so I checked the VNC credentials option, in the group management thing I added an admin with a password, but not a username idk there is not an option for that. The username is pi, so in VNC viewer I write username: pi and password: and it tells me it did not recognize either the username, or the password. The port forwarding is set up fine, I tested the connection in the app, i have changed my RPI passwd just for this and it still does not work. I always get told I entered the wrong credentials. I installed the VNC server on my RPI, I got my RPI username and password, I checked the "UNIX password" authentication option in VNC, set up port forwarding through my router, and when I try to connect with my computer that is inside the network, it just doesn't work. I have done port forwarding and Wake on Lan before so I did not know it would be this hard. So I thought I would use VNC, to connect and disconnect to my RPI digitally. And when I do that, I can't do or search anything on my computer and that is really annoying.
